“You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27

Mission work at Christ United Methodist Church is always alive and well. Not everyone believes they are called to be a missionary that travels the world.  At Christ Church, we recognize and encourage members to live and share their faith globally and locally.  By participating in one of the many mission projects, physically, financially, or prayerfully, we touch lives showing that our work and actions are done in the name of God and only through the love of Jesus Christ are we strengthened in mind and body to do God’s work. You can make a difference! We need you to be part of our mission teams…Check out the opportunities below:

Lamb’s Basket Food Pantry

We support The Lamb’s Basket a local food pantry. We are always accepting donations of non-perishable food items. Each month we pick a different type of food to collect and donate. We have collected over 200 pounds of food so far this year! During the month of September, we observe hunger action month. We fast and pray for the hungry in America and donate the money we would have spent on food to help the Society of St. Andrew. “We remember to eat simply so others may simply eat.”

Holiday Food Baskets

We collect food items to make baskets for neighborhood families who would not have a holiday meal.
